You can make basic edits to images stored on your website using the built-in Image Editor. You can save your changes as a copy or replace the original image. The Image Editor is available anywhere images are stored on your website, like individual Photo Albums, the Photo Manager, and Web Graphics.
Navigate to the Photo Manager, a Photo Album, or Web Graphics and find the image you want to edit. Click the Image Editor icon.
Tools you can use:
- Undo last change
- Redo last change
- Rotate left
- Rotate right
- Crop
- Adjust brightness
- Adjust size
Cropping Images
When you're in Crop mode, first create a rectangle. Then, adjust the image from any corner or edge as usual and click the Check icon to create the crop.
Resizing Images
When you're in Adjust Size mode, use the + and - icons to adjust the size in 5% increments. You can also enter a number to scale the image up or down. For example, entering "2" doubles the image size. Entering ".5" shrinks the image by half. Click the Check icon to create the crop.
If you enter a specific width or height, the aspect ratio is not retained.
Saving Edited Images
If you want to use the edited version anywhere the original is currently used on your website, click Save and Close. The edited version is saved over the original.
If you want to save the edited version as a new version, click Save as New (edited) Image. The original version will be untouched.
You may need to clear your browser's cache to view updated images.
If you make changes to an image in a Photo Album and save it as a new image, the new image won't be added to the Photo Album automatically. You can find new images created from Photo Albums in the Photo Manager.
