To set up Google Analytics, you'll need a Google account. Once you've signed in to your Google Account, navigate to analytics.google.com
Enter the name of your account. Your account will likely be the name of your organization. Next, configure your data-sharing settings based on your needs. Consult the help built into Google Analytics for guidance. Next, set up a property. Your property will likely be the name of your website.
In the next section, add details about your organization, like type and size. Then, choose how you intend to use the data you collect. Identifying your needs helps Google Analytics show you the most relevant data collections on your dashboard and improve your insights and predictions.
Agree to the terms and conditions, and then you'll set up your website as the platform from which you want to collect data.
Next, enter the URL of your website and name the data stream (this can be your organization name).
Your Measurement ID will appear on the last page. You should add this ID to the Google Analytics Measurement ID field in Website Options.
