Blog authors have administrative rights over that blog, with the ability to create, edit, and delete blog posts and comments (if comments are enabled). A blog can have multiple authors or different authors over time. Each post is linked to a specific author.
Notes About Blog Authors
Blog authors don't need coordinator access to the module in order to write posts. They can access Blogs to write posts
- In the Member Profile, under Your Website Functions
- On the user side of the blog, by clicking the Manage Posts link
Administrators or coordinators with access to Blogs still need to be added as Authors if you want to assign posts to them or allow them to post to a blog.

Navigate to the Control Panel > Communications Tab > Blogs.
Adding a Blog Author
Find the blog in the grid, then click the Blog Authors (people) icon in the Maintain Column.
In the pop-up, click Add Author to add a new Blog author using the Member Selector.
Deleting a Blog Author
Find the blog in the grid, then click the Blog Authors (people) icon in the Maintain Column. In the pop-up, click the Delete icon next to the author you want to remove.
