Navigate to the Control Panel > Website Tab > Admin Functions > Banner Advertising.
The screen contains a grid listing all panels currently being used on your website and whether or not the panels are active. The grid contains:
- Panel TitleāThe panel title is for administrative purposes only and is configured when a new panel is added. Common content boxes used for banner ads are titled "Converted Content Box X," with "X" referring to the panel position. Select the Edit icon to edit the panel's name.
- Ad Count - the number of active ads displayed in the panel. This number does not include inactive ads stored in the panel. To add additional ads or edit existing ads, select the Manage Advertisements icon.
- Active - whether or not the panel is an active panel displaying ads. To change the status of a panel, select the Edit icon.
Adding a Panel
Select the Add Panel button to add an ad panel.
You will see an automatically assigned panel number in the Add/Edit Advertising Panel popup. Any newly created panels will follow the sequence of panels not being used.
Enter the panel's title. The title is for administrative purposes only. Finally, check the Active box to determine whether the panel is active. Active panels display ads on your website. Deactivating a panel does not delete the ads in that panel; the panel simply will not display ads on your website.
Removing a Panel
To delete a panel, you must first delete all ads. Once you remove the ads, you'll see a Delete icon to remove the panel. Alternatively, you can Edit the panel and deactivate it.
