When search results return, you'll see an Actions button. The button allows you to add the results of your search to various modules on your website (like Interests or Committees), add results to a subgroup, export the list, and more.
Many of the options will prompt you to make further selections, for example, creating a new mailing list category or choosing an Interest or Subgroup.
Note: Interest Category limits may be ignored when you add members to interest groups through the People Manager. For example, a member with the maximum number of interests allowed in a category can be added to additional interests by an administrator using the Actions button.
Note: If you attempt to add non-members to an Interest, you'll receive an error.
Note: If a Committee has limited membership and there are more search results than slots, you'll receive an error message and will need to narrow down your search to complete the Action.
Subgroup fees are not applied when members are added to a subgroup using the Action button. If subgroup fees apply, you'll need to add those separately, either using the Charge/Credit option for each member, or Multiple Misc. Charges/Credits. You may receive an error if:
- Any of the member types do not allow a subgroup selection
- Any of the members are already at their maximum subgroup selection
- Any of the members are secondary or tertiary, and must follow the subgroup selection of the primary member in the membership
