Many tasks you complete in the People Manager can be done elsewhere on your website. This is useful if you want to delegate tasks to Coordinators without giving them full access to your membership database. Below is a list of things you can do, and where else you can do them.
Managing Member and Non-Member Mailing Lists - You can manage the members on your mailing lists in the Control Panel, Communications Tab, Mailing List Categories. See Managing People in a Mailing List Category
Creating an Ad Hoc Charge or Credit - In the Control Panel, Money Tab, Open Credits, you can issue a single credit to a member or create a charge (or credit) for one or more members in Multiple Miscellaneous Charges and Credits. See Creating Miscellaneous Charges and Crediting Members and Managing Credits
Printing Invoices - You can download and print invoices from the Control Panel, Money Tab, Transaction Search, or in Money Reports, Member Invoices. See Downloading Invoices
Adding Members or Non-Members to a Committee - Add members or non-members to Committees in the module. See Managing Committee Members
Adding Members to an Interest - Add members to an Interest in the module. See Adding and Removing Members from an Interest
Asking Members and Non-Members How They Heard About You - You can manage the ways people find you in the People Manager, and turn on the question in the Control Panel, Website Tab, Website Options. See Configuring Basic Website Options
Applying a Payment - You can apply a physical payment to a member or non-member's account in the People Manager, by clicking the Payment icon in the Maintain Column. You can also apply payments in the Transaction Search feature. See Applying a Physical Payment (Cash or Check)
