Navigate to the Control Panel > Money Tab > Website Modules > Expense Reimbursements.
Categories
Click Configure > Categories.
Add and manage request categories. Members submitting reimbursement requests will be asked to choose a category from a drop-down menu to define their request. Click the Add Category button to add a new category, and assign it a sequence order in the drop-down menu.
Module Options
Click Configure > Options.
Configure basic options for the module.
Select the earliest start date members can select for events or projects they tie to expense reimbursement requests. Choose whether supporting documentation is required for all requests. Finally, choose the number of approvals required for an expense reimbursement request, either one or two approvals.
The number of approvals you select will apply to all the requests submitted, so choose this option carefully. We don't recommend changing your number of approvals once you've made your selection and are processing requests.
Approvers
Approvers are able to manage all aspects of reimbursement requests, including editing, approving and declining requests. Approvers also receive email notifications when an expense is ready to be approved at their stage.
Click Configure > Approvers.
The grid listing Approvers will include their name and approval number (either first, second, or first and second). For organizations with subgroups, you'll also see the subgroup level assigned to the Approver.
There are a few important notes to keep in mind about Approvers:
Full website administrators can always manage (edit, approve or decline) requests (but they won't be notified by email of a request unless they are also listed as an Approver)
Module coordinators can always manage requests (but again, they won't be notified by email of a request unless they are also listed as an Approver)
Parent-level administrators of an organization with subgroups can always manage requests
Subgroup-level administrators can always view requests, but must also be an Approver in order to manage them and receive email notifications
Approvers must have either full administrative access, subgroup-level administrative access, or coordinator access to the module
