In-Person Payments is an admin function that allows administrators/coordinators to create a "cart" of items for a user to purchase at in-person events.
A merchant account powered by Stripe, and the ClubExpress Mobile App is required to use this module. Please contact support if you wish to set up a merchant account or ClubExpress Mobile App.
Users can make donations, sign-up for new membership, or purchase any item from the Storefront.
All of the available options can be mixed and matched together into one checkout.
To the options available for purchase are all connected to other parts of your ClubExpress website:
- Donation options are based on the donation funds configures in the Donation module, and all donations made with In-Person Payments will appear in the Donation module as well.
- Membership options are available, based on the Member Types configured for your organization.
- Storefront items are all available based on what items are configured in your Storefront Module.
- In-Person Payments will respect inventory information for Storefront items and will not allow purchase of out-of-stock items unless back-ordering is enabled for that item.
In-Person Payments also allows for Bluetooth connection to an M2 Credit Card reader for processing payment via credit card tap or chip.
