Service Request emails include request and confirmation emails sent to Service Providers. Automated Emails are system email reminders sent to service providers and requesters about upcoming requests.
Configuring Service Request Emails
Navigate to the Control Panel > Services Tab > Setup > Service Options. Scroll to Emailing Options.
- 'From' Email Address - specify the email address request and confirmation emails are sent from
- 'From' Name - specify the name appearing as the sender for request and confirmation emails

Include in Subject Line- allows you to configure additional information that will be shown in the subject line for these emails:
- Service Request Number – can be used as a reference to lookup the request.
- Member Name
- Service Date

Send ‘Not Needed’ Emails to controls who should receive the Not Needed emails when you click this button on the Service Request Add/Edit screen:
- Only to providers that currently have a “Not Needed” status;
- Any providers with a status of either emailed, left message 1/2, will call back, or available (the status will automatically be changed to Not Needed);
- Any providers not Selected.
- Send confirmation emails to others in the requesting member's membership - allow the confirmation email that gets sent to the requesting member to be sent to all members in a household.

Notify Staff - select the notifications Responsible Staffers will receive:
- When any staff member creates a service request
- When a member enters a service request
Configuring Automated Email Reminders
Navigate to the Control Panel > Services Tab > Setup > Service Options. Scroll to Automated Emailing.
Automated Email Reminders allow you to define when reminder notifications are sent. The content of these emails can be edited in Control Panel > Communications Tab > Setup > System Emails.

- Service request reminders: Determine if, and how many days prior to the service request to send a reminder to the service provider (volunteer) and the requester.
- Day of service: Whether or not to send an email reminder to the service provider on the day of the service being performed.
- Follow-up: Determine if, and how many days after the service request has been completed to send a follow-up email to the service provider (volunteer) and the requester.
