Navigate to the Control Panel, Services Tab, Setup, Services.
Click Add Service.
- Specify the service name, category and whether it should be visible to staff members (available to be selected for a request)
- Check the Follow-Up Emails box to send follow-up emails to the requesting member and service provider after the service request has been completed. Follow-up emails are configured in System Emails, and will only be sent if the box is checked for the service (see Customizing System Emails).
- If the Volunteer Self-Signup function is enabled, check whether this service should be visible to every volunteer, or only to volunteers who have explicitly checked this service, or not shown at all. Only eligible service requests will appear on the Volunteer Self-Signup list (see Configuring Volunteer Self-Signup).
- Use the Special Instructions box to include any notes for the service (up to 500 characters).
Grouping only appears if your Village participates in the Village Data Sharing Project and you have opted in from the Control Panel > Service Tab > Setup > Service Options. This data sharing allows the Village-to-Village Network to aggregate anonymous data on the services being offered to participants.
