How do I create a quiz?
Quizzes are created using the built-in Ad Hoc Forms module. You can add questions to the form, like creating questions in many other areas, like surveys and additional member data. There are a few special notes to keep in mind:
- Your quizzes must be restricted to Radio Button style questions
- To process scores, you must designate a correct answer for each question. You can do this by adding a percentage (%) symbol before the correct answer in your list of answers for the question. See the example below.
- Your Form must be Active to appear in the list of available forms for the course.
How do I add a quiz to my course?
Course quizzes are associated with course videos. Add the course or find it using the search panel. Click the Videos icon in the Maintain Column. Add a new video, or edit an existing video and add a quiz. See Adding Videos to a Course.
If you don't see your quiz in the dropdown menu, you may have forgotten to change the status to Active.
How many quizzes can I have in my course?
You can have as many quizzes as you have videos or one quiz.
What's the difference between an Evaluation and a Quiz?
Course evaluations are for the students to evaluate the course and instructions. Quizzes evaluate the learners. Both are created in Ad Hoc Forms.
