There are three possible ways to cancel your registration for an event:
1. From the Event Calendar:
If an event is configured to allow users to cancel on their own, when you return to the event you are signed up for through the Event Calendar, you will see a Cancel Registration button. Clicking that button will prompt you to confirm the action and if you do, your registration will be cancelled.
2. From your Member Profile
If an event is configured to allow users to cancel on their own, members can visit their member profile by clicking on their name at the top of the website and clicking the Profile option.
Once on your member Profile, click on Event History in the Histories section. From there, you can Click on the Trash Can icon to cancel your registration for an upcoming event.
3. Contact an Admin or Event Contact
If an event is configured not to allow users to cancel on their own, users will need to contact a website administrator or Event Contact listed in the event details, to have the administrator process the cancellation for you.
Admin Cancellation
Admins can visit the Registrations section from the event management screen to edit/cancel registrations. Clicking the red Cancel icon to begin cancellation. You will be prompted to confirm this step. If the registration has already been paid, clicking Cancel issues a credit for that member or non-member and you can then flag this credit as having been “used” in the form of a refund. If the registration has not been paid, this step also deletes the pending transaction. You will then see a Delete icon that allows you to delete the cancelled registration completely (so that it no longer appears in the list.)
