The Donation Widget gives users quick access to make donations from a Custom Page or the Home Page of your ClubExpress website.
Adding the Donation Widget
To add a donation widget to your website, first ensure that you have an active donation fund configured.
Then, edit any Custom Page or your website's Home Page.
Find the Donation option in the Widget list and drag it to any cell you wish the donation to appear in.
Configuring the Donation Widget
Once your widget has been added to a cell, use the Cell Tools to configure your donation settings.
- Title: Text that will appear at the top of the widget
- Fund: Select the donation fund that donations will apply to (only one fund may be selected for each donation widget)
- Button Text: The text on the button that will take them to the donation page
- Button Color: This selection will set the color for all buttons in the widget
- Display recurring: if the donation fund selected allows users to make recurring donations, this option will allow users to select the option to donate on a recurring basis
- Only Display Required Fields: Selecting this option will make the donation process faster and easier for users by removing all optional donation information
- Donate on Behalf: Allows users to submit a donation on behalf or in honor of another person
- Suggested Amounts: enter all denominations that users may submit donations for. A minimum of one suggested amount must be entered, but additional amounts may be listed by clicking the Add option.
- Include Other: Users may be allowed to select an Other option to enter a custom donation amount
Finally, apply your changes to save your configuration.
Don't forget to use the Save and Make Active option on your webpage to have the donation widget appear for your website users.
