ClubExpress offers more than 20 built-in modules on your website. You may activate some when you first sign up and save others for after you've launched your website to your members.
Only a full website administrator can enable built-in modules.
Sign in with your username and password. Navigate to the Control Panel; the link is usually followed to your Member Profile menu.
The Control Panel includes five tabs with website functions (where you'll access website modules), a Dashboard, and a Support tab.
Enabling a Module
Find the tab for the module you want to activate, then click the Configure button.
If you don't know where to find the module, check a help article for the module and look for "Navigate to..." instructions.
In the Configure pop-up, scroll down the left menu to find the modules that haven't been activated in the tab and select the module.
In the Configure Tab, you'll activate the module.
In the Status field, choose Active to activate the module. This won't add the module to your menu; you'll need to do that after you set up and configure the module.
You can use a different name for each module within the system and the module when it appears on a menu. Function Name represents the name you want to use for the function within your ClubExpress website. Menu Text is the module's name when it appears on any menu on your website. The SEO/Browser Title allows you to control the title of the page when it's shown in your browser. Customizing this value can improve your visibility in search engines.
Names can only be used once across your website; if you try to assign the same name to more than one item (a module or custom page) you'll get an error message.
Visibility controls who can see this function: all visitors to the website or members only after they have logged in. Selecting Any Web Site Visitor allows members and non-members to view the module.
Some modules do not have an admin side and will only display in the Website Modules panel in View Mode, for example, Chat and Meets (used with the Mobile App). Once you have enabled those modules, select Switch to View Mode to access the item.
If you select Any Web Site Visitor for a module but only place it on your Member Menu, a non-member might still be able to access the module with a direct link they might get from someone who is a member of your organization.
Quick Links allows you to define a simplified URL that points directly to an event or a special page on the website. Quick Links are intended to be used in emails and printed documents where the long and ugly link to a specific page, event, or document can't be masked. Specify the name of the Quick Link. The actual link will be your website URL, followed by a forward slash, followed by the Quick Link text (myclub.clubexpress.com/businesses)
Click Save to save your changes and Activate the module. Remember, you'll still need to configure and add the module to your website menu.
Turning Off a Module
If you want to take a module offline to make changes, choose Inactive. The function is still enabled but won't be visible on menus.
If you want to remove a module from your website, Choose Disabled/Hidden. You'll no longer see the module in your Control Panel when you close the window.
