Some villages prefer that all contractor requests go through the village office so that village staff members can follow up with members to ensure satisfaction. Other villages allow members to look up contractors on their own from among the list of vetted contractors in each service. Navigate to the Control Panel > Services Tab > Setup Section > Service Providers.
Click Add a New Contractor.
Apart from the contractor's contact information, there are a few additional fields you'll want to fill in for a contractor assisting Village members:

Visibility - Control whether the contractor is active
- Active and Visible - provider can be selected for services
- Active and Not Visible - provider can't be selected for new requests; can handle requests already scheduled
- Inactive - provider cannot be added to service requests, will be included in reports
- Metro Area - If your Village relies on Metro Areas for services, add te Metro Area for the contractor to limit their requests to a specific area.
- Village Information Emails—This box is automatically checked for new contractors; uncheck it to allow contractors to receive general blast emails from the Village.
- AOR Emails - Choose whether to include the contractor in Automated Open Request emails (see Setting Up Automated Open Request (AOR) Emails).
- Preferred Contact Method - Choose the method the contractor prefers to receive referrals.
- Discount Notes/Payment Terms - track special offers or arrangements for village members
