Service Providers may only be available during certain times on specific days, and may want to block off time for vacation or breaks. An administrator or coordinator can modify these settings.
Navigate to the Control Panel > Services Tab > Setup Section > Service Providers.
Managing Daily/Weekly Availability
Use the search panel to find the volunteer, then click the Availability icon in the Maintain Column.
Hover over the icon to reveal the icon's name as a tooltip.
If you're using Volunteer Self-Signup, volunteers can manage their Availability and Vacation Calendars from the VSS screen (see About Volunteer Self-Signup).
On the Availability screen, check the boxes next to when the volunteer is available for Service Requests.
These options only control whether a provider will appear on the list of possible providers based on general ranges of availability. So if a volunteer tells you that she is available from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesdays, enable her for both the Morning and the Afternoon slots. She always has the option to decline a 9:00 AM request and accept an 11:00 AM request.
Managing Vacation Time
Use the search panel to find the volunteer, then click the Vacation Calendar icon in the Maintain Column.
Click an individual date to highlight it as not available. Click a highlighted date to clear it. Use the navigation buttons at the top of the grid to move between months or years. You can also specify start and end dates then click the Not Available option to highlight a larger range.
