You can make an existing non-member in your database a volunteer or add a new non-member and make them a volunteer.
Navigate to the Control Panel > Services Tab > Setup Section > Service Providers.
Make a Non-Member a Volunteer
Click the Make a Non-Member a Volunteer button. Search for the non-member and select them.
Additional fields are discussed below. To access those fields, use the search panel to find the non-member, then click the Edit icon in the Maintain Column to view and manage their volunteer record.
Add a New Non-Member Volunteer
Click the Add a Non-Member a Volunteer button.
Apart from contact information, there are a few additional fields you'll want to fill in for a Service Provider assisting Village members:

Visibility - Control whether the volunteer is active
- Active and Visible - provider can be selected for services
- Active and Not Visible - provider can't be selected for new requests; can handle requests already scheduled
- Inactive - provider cannot be added to service requests, will be included in reports
- Metro Area - If your Village relies on Metro Areas for services, add te Metro Area for the non-member to limit their requests to a specific area.
- Village Information Emails—This box is automatically checked for new non-members; uncheck it to allow them to receive general blast emails from the Village.
- AOR Emails - Choose whether to include the non-member in Automated Open Request emails (see Setting Up Automated Open Request (AOR) Emails).
