To automatically create a Mailchimp Contact from ClubExpress Event Registrants, follow the steps on the Creating Zaps page with the following configuration:
Account: connect to an ClubExpress-generated API Key with the Event Registrations permission enabled
Trigger Event: Select New Event Registration as your trigger event
Test Record: Select a recent event registrant as your test record
Note: Use a record that has at least a first name, last name, email address, phone number, and address information.
App: Select Mailchimp as your triggered App
Action event: Select Add/Update Subscriber
Account: allow Zapier to access your Hubspot account
Map your Action Configuration:
- Audience → Select your Mailchimp audience id
Note: In mailchimp you can set up different campaigns/audiences for things like New members, expired members, registrants, etc. - Email → Email Address
- First Name → First Name
- Last Name → Last Name
- Street Address → Address line 1
- City → City
- State → State
- Postal Code → Postal Code
- Country → Country
- Phone Number → Phone
Once published, all future primary event registrants on your ClubExpress website will automatically appear as subscribers in your Mailchimp account.
