To automatically create a Mailchimp Contact when a member expires, follow the steps on the Creating Zaps page with the following configuration:
Account: connect to an ClubExpress-generated API Key with the Member Expirations permission enabled
Trigger Event: Select Expired Members Since Last Sync as your trigger event
Test Record: Select a member that recently expired as your test record
Note: If no member recently expired, you may need to manually set an example member to the expired status.
App: Select Mailchimp as your triggered App
Action event: Select Add/Update Subscriber
Account: allow Zapier to access your Mailchimp account
Map your Action Configuration:
- Email → Email Address
- First Name → First Name
- Last Name → Last Name
- Street Address → Address line 1
- Address line 2 → Address line 2
- City → City
- State/Prov/Region → State
- Postal Code → Postal Code
- Country → Country
- Phone Number → Phone
Once published, all future members that expire will automatically appear as subscribers in your Mailchimp account.
